Muhammad Tariq Jamil is a passionate and accomplished law student currently pursuing an LLB (Hons) in Shariah and Law at the International Islamic University Islamabad, where he maintains an impressive 3.8 GPA. Alongside his legal education, he holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Lakki Marwat, reflecting a broad interdisciplinary foundation in law, politics, and governance.
Tariq has amassed a wealth of hands-on legal experience through prestigious internships at the Federal Judicial Academy, Senate of Pakistan, and top law firms such as Sardar Abdul Sami Law Associates and Kundi & Kundi Advocates. His work includes litigation support, legislative drafting, and legal research across constitutional, civil, criminal, and corporate domains.
A dynamic leader, he co-founded MASAWAT-AMAL, an intersex empowerment project, and has held multiple leadership roles in student organizations including the Islamian Debate Forum and Moot Court Society. He has participated in numerous moot court competitions and has been a vocal advocate for human rights through legal aid and academic conferences.
Tariq is also an alumnus of the Amal Academy’s Stanford-funded Career-Prep Fellowship and has completed several professional courses in international law, human rights, ADR, and Islamic finance. Fluent in English, Urdu, Pashto, and basic Arabic, he brings strong communication skills, legal acumen, and social responsibility to every role.
His ultimate goal is to contribute meaningfully to legal reform, human rights advocacy, and accessible justice in Pakistan and beyond.
