Nicholus Kiprotich Rono is a dedicated Kenyan legal scholar currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Law at the Kenya School of Law under the Advocates Training Programme. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Kisii University, where he graduated with a Second Class Upper Division, ranking second in his class and earning recognition as the best-performing male student.
Nicholus combines strong academic performance with practical experience. He has served in key legal roles, including a judicial attachment at Nakuru Law Courts under Hon. Justice David Nderitu and Hon. Kipkurui Kibelion, and a clinical externship at Tengekyon and Co. Advocates. His work includes legal research, drafting pleadings, and writing contractual agreements across various fields such as commercial law, intellectual property, and criminal law.
He previously interned at Equity Bank under its Pre-University Program, an experience that cultivated his professional discipline and commitment to integrity. He has also held leadership roles in student organizations and mentored youth through the Equity Leaders Program.
Nicholus is passionate about legal advocacy, community service, and upholding justice. With a strong foundation and growing expertise, he aims to contribute meaningfully to the legal field in Kenya and on a global scale.
